TANDOORI CHICKEN DISH

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Fresh cilantro leaves, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
- In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, lemon juice, vegetable oil, garlic, ginger, cumin, paprika, turmeric, coriander, salt, and cayenne pepper.
- Add the chicken pieces to the bowl and toss to coat with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.
