How to make kabab?
INGREDIENTS:
- 500 grams boneless lamb or mutton
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/4 cup yogurt
- 5-8 eggs
- 2 tbsp mustard oil
- Salt to taste
For the garnish:
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Fresh coriander leaves
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Cut the lamb or mutton into small pieces and transfer them to a mixing bowl.
- Add ginger paste, garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder, yogurt, lemon juice, mustard oil, eggs and salt to the bowl. Mix everything well and let it marinate for at least 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Take the marinated lamb or mutton pieces and thread them onto skewers.
- Place the skewers onto a baking tray and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, turning them once.
- Once cooked, remove the skewers from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with sliced onion, fresh coriander leaves, and lemon wedges.
- Your delicious Kashmiri Kababs are ready to serve!
